NPI-Product Engineer
Job Overview:
- The NPI Product Engineer will be responsible for QCOM IC NPI development in product engineering area. A strong understanding of IC flows, wafer processing, testing, and qualification is expected. An ideal NPI-product engineer should also be a highly motivated, fast learner, team player with good communication skills
Duties/Responsibilities:
- New products development from project planning, IC qualification, data review, production release, test time reduction and yield improvement
- New products reliability solution development & support
- New products DPPM correlation, and product correlation between system and ATE
- Trouble-shooting on different failure mode and test coverage improvement on ATE and SLT
- Production sustaining support includes production program upgrade and release, lot disposition, extended test time reduction and yield improvement, RMA analysis, etc.
Qualifications:
- BS Electrical Engineering, Microelectronics, or Computer Engineering, MS preferred
- Good communication skills in English
- Highly motivated, fast learner, team player with good communication skills
- Knowledge in IC flows, wafer processing, testing, and qualification as a plus
- Familiar with new product correlation & release into production as a plus
- Experience of IC product qualification is a plus
- Knowledge in BT/WiFi/Ethernet/SOC Communication IC products and test as a plus
- Knowledge on wireless communication protocol is a plus
