  • Job Description
    Process Engineers are highly motivated individuals with strong technical background and capabilities to sustain, ramp, and transfer technologies using state of the art equipment and materials in CVD area. They will drive rapid continuous improvements in safety, quality, yield, reliability, cost, process stability/capability, and productivity while maintaining rigorous standards within the Intel factory network. Job duties include sustaining ownership of day-to-day operations, equipment troubleshooting and mentoring technicians across all shifts to deliver best-in-class results for tool availability, cycle time, defects and parametric performance. Hands-on participation with frequent factory floor presence is expected. The job also includes developing solutions to problems utilizing formal education, statistical knowledge, and problem-solving tools as well as developing strategy to prevent the problem from recurring in future. May also require transfer of the process to high volume manufacturing and participation in factory start-up as well as install and qualification of the new production lines. Behavioral traits for this position include strong communication skills, sense of urgency, self-direction, integrity, teamwork, leadership skills, strong problem solving, and attention to detail.
  • Qualifications
    1. Must hold minimum of B.S. degree in engineering, material science, physics, or chemistry , and has directly related experience in semiconductor industry
    2. Mastery of principles and working knowledge of various thin film CVD deposition processes and equipment including Novellus strata / Vector Extreme / AMAT OPOP tool and process.
    3. In-depth understanding and familiarity of various CVD thin film material properties and thin film characterization techniques
    4. Understanding and working knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC) and/or Design of Experiments (DOE) , able to use software such as JMP, excel to run data analysis
    5. Ability to design, execute, and analyze experiments to screen and optimize various CVD processes and equipment to meet technology (performance, yield, and reliability) and manufacturing (process stability, cost of ownership, capacity improvement) targets.
    6. Must be willing to learn and work in a dynamic/fast paced environment.
