- Job Description
Dry Etch Process Engineers are responsible for transferring new product to production fabs, and directing the sustaining/improvement efforts for yield and equipment performance. Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
# Completing all required safety training and ensure all work is conducted in accordance with Intel safety policies
# Working with Process Engineering and integration Teams to provide a seamless process transfer
# Executing and aligning to transfer philosophy during and after the transfer process
# Identifying all tool differences between new processes and existing base lines and taking appropriate action
# Complete all the documentation which are needed during process transfer.
# Collaborating with stakeholders to enhance shared learning between sending and receiving fabs
# Coordinating the setup for tool, recipe and related automation.
# Coordinating with team to understand the detailed process knowledge, including process and tool characterization
# Coordinating and prioritizing transfer activity
# Disseminating process metrics reports
# Implement change to improve output, quality or cost reduction.
# Reviewing SPC trends, reacting in time and taking proactive action.
# Partnering with Production and shift engineering to troubleshoot excursions issue.
# Partnering with global counterparts to identify and align to best known methods
# Defining the process margin with respect to upstream and downstream steps
# Characterizing the process response to parameters
# Optimizing existing process and reducing scrap and excursions
# Assuming additional duties and projects as directed by the supervisor
# Maintaining flexibility to be on call to address shift needs
# Maintaining flexibility to travel - Qualifications
# Bachelor degree or above in an engineering related field or equivalent experience.
# At least 3 years above of semiconductor experience is required.
# Demonstrated knowledge of equipment and processes
# Intermediate understanding of various material analysis techniques
# Demonstrated advanced understanding of SPC, stats and DOE.
# Advanced data extraction, analysis, and reporting skills
# Proven ability to communicate and present technical information effectively
# Proven ability to troubleshoot complex problems and address root cause
# Demonstrated success in partnering with others
# Proven ability in multi-tasking complex projects
# Demonstrated strong attention to detail and organizational skills
