Responsibilities:

• Inbound
• Develop in-depth knowledge of products and target applications
• Work with Marketing team to generate and publish general technology and product collaterals: datasheet, product briefs, white papers
• Work with engineering teams to generate and publish product collaterals: application notes, user guides, design guidelines, and checklists
• Participate in the development and customization of software driver, firmware, RMU, API, and other debug tools. (SW AE)
• Verify product functions as applicable based on customer-specific implementations.
• Collaborate with Systems Engineering team to bring-up evaluation/demo boards.
• Maintain record of engagement with engineering teams, to include any decision that deviate from the norm.
• Provide status updates of ongoing projects

• Outbound
• Prepare and maintain demo setup for customer demos and trade shows
• Work with Marketing and engineering team to respond to non-standard technical requirement from customers
• Generate materials and perform technical product training to field applications and sales teams.
• Provide 2nd level technical support to revenue generating customers including schematic and layout review of critical design wins.
• Duplicate and troubleshoot issues on customer’s board and software related to Marvell products
• Collaborate with local field support teams to provide direct technical support of reference design customers and eco-system partners.
• Maintain record of engagement with customers, to include any communication presented to customer that deviate from the norm.

• Education
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related fields and 5-10 years of related professional experience.
• Master’s degree and/or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related fields with 3-5 years of experience.

• Knowledge of Ethernet Switch IC and switching architecture, PHY IC, and high speed SerDes (*GMII, XFI/SFI, PCIe) protocols
• Relevant experience in applications engineering, board development, or system level design and architecture
• Experience with lab debug equipment including oscilloscope and network analyzer
• Self-starter who can work independently with minimal supervision but must be able to work as part of a team
• Strong communication and excellent interpersonal skills to work with customers
• Fluent in English and Mandarin (Native)

• Knowledge of Marvell Switch, PHY, or Processor products
• Expertise in the automotive applications with experience working at an automotive OEMs, Tier1s, or semiconductor IC suppliers
• Familiarity with virtualization and hypervisor topics (preferably embedded systems)
• Experience with Automotive SPICE and/or ISO26262 standard
