Title: Application Specialist (Hefei)
 
Position summary:
The application specialist will provide technical on-site support to enlarge POR share, develop and maintain positive relationship with customers and will bridge new product penetration, support pre-sales efforts with technical presentations, BKM and white papers.
 
Roles And Responsibilities

• Provide both on-site and remote applications support to customers
• Lead major demo efforts and work with account team to ensure success
• Deliver technical presentation and perform system demonstration for customers
• Qualify the new installed system in the field and work together with FSE to carry out the final acceptance for new tool installation
• Apply good problem-solving skills to solve customer issues and applications
• Establish good relationship with customers and develop commercial awareness in order to feedback the business opportunity to sales team
• Collect & feedback marketing information to reinforce products’ competitive position

• Above Master’s degree in physical, Material Science Engineering or Chemical Engineering background.
• Proficient in both written and spoken English required
• Ability to work independently under minimal supervision
• Ability to deliver effective technical presentations to internal and external audiences
• Knowledge of basic Semiconductor device physics
• Knowledge of numerical analysis, mathematical optimization is a plus
• Experience with semiconductor fabrication and process is a plus
• travel: regional travel is needed (~50%)
